Made of specialty synthetic rubber sponge with high weather resistance, they retain elasticity between -30 °C and 120 °C.
With excellent weather resistance, the adhesiveness of butyl rubber is stable in cold regions as well as areas with severe heat during the summer.

The adhesiveness of butyl rubber and the resilience of sponge rubber make them very compatible with water sealing surfaces and follow expansion, contraction and other behaviors to completely block water.

Watertight resistance test results

●Test method

Test samples from Sealant Tape SP Types SP-II, SP-II C, SP-III and SP-IV are placed in watertight resistance test equipment as illustrated. The test observed if water leaked within the three-minute retention time at different water pressures.For testing tape to the ring shape another thin butyl tape was used to fix both ends.
